About Me

Dr Farah Naqvi is a Learning and Development professional and professor of Human Resources with extensive experience in academia and industry. In her career span of over 16 years, Farah has been associated with several top-tier universities and companies in different professional capacities, including NOX Management Kuwait; American University of Kuwait; Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS Global School for Continuing Education), India; Swiss Institute of Management & Innovation, Switzerland (SIMI); IIM Ahmedabad; GCUE Kuwait; Centre for Organization Development (COD) Hyderabad; IBS Hyderabad, NSRIC Inc Canada and IBA Bangalore. She is a research guide with Liverpool John Moores University, UK, for their Global Executive MBA Program and External Examiner (Doctoral Program) for Central University of Tamil Nadu, India.

Farah has designed and delivered MDP and training programs on behavioural and skill-based themes for the professionals of Indian Administrative Services (IAS/IFS) and executives ranging from Middle to VP level working with companies from the Education and Service Sectors, Aviation Industry, Banking, Defence and Administration, Public Sector and Government Enterprises, Technology and IT Industries.

She has provided consulting services to a wide range of organisations, from Fortune 500 companies to small startups, helping them resolve issues on transformational and transitional change interventions, cultural intelligence, collaboration, trust, collective ownership & accountability to enhance employee engagement, intergroup conflict resolution and issues related to managing and developing people at the workplace. She has assisted career and assessment centres in different institutions in creating intervention and training programs based on personality and competency mapping using a range of psychometric, projective and behavioural assessment tests (MBTI, TAT, FIRO-B, 16 PF, EI Inventory, NLP). Dr Farah is known for translating complex research findings into practical recommendations that can be applied in real-world settings.

She forayed into the literature world with her best selling fiction- ‘The light in Blackout’ in 2019 and ‘Jhumki’ in 2020. The books garnered great reviews featuring in the top 25 Fiction bestsellers list on Amazon within a month of its release. She has been featured for her literary work in leading English newspapers like The Hindu, Business Standard, Deccan Chronicle, The Asian Age, The Hans India, Dailyhunt, Newstrack, Newsnow, The India Observer (TIO), The Dispatch and many other online and print media. She was honoured by the Sahitya Academy (Govt of India) for her excellence in writing in 2020 and 2021.

Farah is a featured author, columnist and contributor in different newspapers and online portals such as The Dispatch, Human Capital, TIO (USA), The Hans India, Asian Chronicle, Deccan Chronicle, Asian Age, The Daily Brunch, Women’s Web, Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), and World Nation’s Writer Union (WNWU). She has been invited as a guest panellist for many national and international news channels and television shows such as CNBC, News X, Kuwait National Television (KTV2). She loves to express herself through her writing be it poetry, stories, articles or columns on varied themes.
